LAYDAY CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS 2023 ON TEXEL

On Texel there are not only about 14,000 sheep (which roughly corresponds to the number of inhabitants), but also the layday Club Championships 2023.

From 22 to 24 September, the members of the fearless layday e.v. threw themselves into the waves and surfed for glory, honour and a great trophy. The invitation came from Thomas, the arrival was on Friday. Anticipation and a portion of Kibbeling for everyone included. With a spectacular sunset, we surfed in, slapping the waves below, thunder through the sky above.

After a hearty breakfast at the campsite, where there was also a whirlpool (M.Z. likes to call it HOTTAP), the time had come on Saturday – and the waves were ready. Three cheers for our winners – the results are as follows:
